After careful planning and preparation of my collection, I realized I wanted a name that was a little more meaningful to my target customer.  I want my customer to feel like its something of theirs as well.  The name of the maternity collection is going to be called, “Vintage Glow.”  This product will be for those who are already glowing to shine even more…  This is your time, and you deserve to look your best.

😉

The Vintage Glow customer is between the ages of 21-35 years old.  She loves to shop, but she knows her limits; sometimes will only shop monthly.  Her monthly income ranges from $900- $3,500.  She loves to save by staying on a budget, and doesn’t go over moderately price ranges. She is very fashion forward, and updated on all the latest trends; but she appreciates the classic and vintage influence in her clothing.  She is a hardworking woman, but is open to her options in working full or part time; and has the option of the support from her spouse. This customers’ education ranges from a few years of college to a Doctorate.  Sizes for her can range in the maternity petites to regular.  The type of clothing this customer mostly shops for is casual, semi formal, formal, and semi casual.  She likes to mix, match, and layer to keep herself trendy.  She is attracted to this new holiday line because the look is for this year’s season.  It’s new and fresh, and she does not want to be put in the category of having “the mom look.”  Other functions this customer still attends are weddings and anniversaries. She is a middle of the road kind of person, and is not strictly liberal or conservative.  About 25% of her clothing is dry cleaned, and the other 75%  of her clothing is self laundered.  The little travel she does is for leisure purposes.  It’s nice to just enjoy life every once in awhile….  This season’s holiday line fits perfect for this customer because the price ranges are anywhere from budget to moderate. The quantities produced are by size orders of two dozens per garment in each store.  It is very accessible to the public.  This line is for our customer to still feel as if they have the opportunity of being fashionable.

This Collection has four different groups of clothing.  The first group is called, “Vintage.”  The Vintage group is a line of casual clothing. The second group is called, “Glow.”  Glow is a line of cocktail wear.  It’s hard to find maternity clothing that allows you to show your sense of style when you go out. This wear is semi formal, but it is not too fancy(more on the cute side).  The third group of this collection is called, “Darling.”  During, the holiday season is when all sorts of invitations are sent out for parties, get togethers, and formal charities/occassions.  When a lovely evening is called for, a lovely appearance is called for.  When better to bring out your evening wear?  The name Darling definitely fits the line.  The last group of this collection is called, ” Vixen.”  As inVintage Vixen…  It has a fun vintage touch that is a form of dressy casual clothing.

(You can make reference of the colors that were selected for these groups under, The Vintage Glow Category of this blog page. )

The potential stores that I would like to hold this line at are JC Penney, Kohl’s, Target, Sears, and Bealls.
